Ivie lives in Leipzig. She barely notices the racism she experiences every day. Out of the blue, her half-sister turns up with the sad news of their father’s death and his upcoming funeral in Senegal. Ivie mourns the loss of her father, but discovers a connection to her new sister. By confronting her own past, she starts to see herself and her life in an entirely new light.
